Camps and facilities designed specifically to enhance the skill level of athletes who participate in sports such as football, baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer, tennis, golf, and many others, have never been as popular as they are today. So much so, that we nearly have as many dealers in this division as we do in our fitness club division!
If your goal is to work with and help athletes, from these and other sports, improve their sports specific skills, or if you already operate this type of facility in a populated community, or are thinking about starting one up, we offer an agreement that will allow you to promote your camp under the smashmouth® sports camps brand.
Although this format is entitled smashmouth® sports camps, the sub-brand you’ll actually take on will depend upon the nature of your camp, examples being: smashmouth® football, smashmouth® baseball, smashmouth® basketball, smashmouth® hockey, smashmouth® soccer, smashmouth® tennis, smashmouth® golf, and so on.
You’ll immediately feed off of the recognition that our brand has accumulated from other points within the fitness industry, such as: traditional fitness clubs, nontraditional fitness clubs, tanning salons, therapeutic massage studios, sports beverage bars, sandwich shops, sports nutrition centers, fitness equipment stores, and sports specific training facilities. Plus, you’ll also immediately tap into the recognition that our brand has instantly achieved by virtue of being unique, distinctive, and differentiated, along with the credibility of a name everyone knows and has heard for over 20 years.
But, unfortunately for your competition, they’ll only be able to offer their clients a sports camp with an ordinary, everyday, run-of-the-mill name. All the better for you, because you’ll be able to out-promote them, adding pizzazz and differentiation to your service through use of the smashmouth® brand.
Given a choice between the ordinary services and ours, doesn’t it seem fairly obvious that people will choose the smashmouth® brand for the best sports specific skill enhancement program available anywhere?
Since this format serves the athlete whose primary concern is to enhance their skill level within their particular sport, your camp or proposed location should at least offer locker / shower facilities, a playing surface or practice area, and some skill enhancement equipment, set in a skeleton-like environment, making this a very high square footage and low capital intensive format.
If you’re converting over to our brand from another, your skill enhancement equipment shouldn’t be much of an issue. If you’re starting from scratch, you’ll have a choice of various skill enhancement equipment manufacturers from which to equip your camp, rather than just being locked into a single pick, plus you’ll follow our guidelines on how to set up and run your camp.
